As experienced developers, we have the know-how to improve a property through re-zoning, renovation, adaptive re-use or new construction. As experienced owners and managers, we apply our extensive market knowledge, rigorous maintenance standards and supervisory skills to successfully reposition assets. Taken together, we possess the insight and know-how to identify and capitalize on opportunities throughout the marketplace.

Our approach is informed by more than 40 years of combined experience by the firm’s principals. That experience includes the acquisition of non-performing first mortgage debt, acquisition of property via foreclosure sale, repositioning of assets, re-zoning and receipt of Planned Unit Development approvals, resolution of environmental contamination issues, utilization of Tax Increment Financing, and structuring of multiple layers of private and public financing to create and preserve affordable housing.

We believe the best way to avoid problems is to always be on the lookout for them, and to acknowledge and accept responsibility promptly if things go awry. To that end, we continually seek to quantify, monitor and actively manage the risk in our projects. Consistent on-site involvement of the principals, appropriate staffing, regular data collection and analysis, deployment of sophisticated technology and good relations with the varied participants enable us to make informed, timely decisions to keep projects on track and on budget.
